KJV wildcard search
Add an asterisk to the end of a word beginning to find the KJV forms that actually start with it. An ordinary word search keeps its exact-word behaviour.
How the asterisk works
Place one asterisk at the end of a letter sequence: spirit* or believ*. This is a prefix search. It searches the actual KJV verses and returns only spellings present in them. It does not generate a modern vocabulary list.
Exact search and wildcard search

| spirit* | Words beginning with spirit, such as spirit, spirits, spiritual and spiritually where present. |
| believ* | Words beginning with believ, such as believe, believed, believeth and believing where present. |
The wildcard matches an English beginning, not a shared Hebrew or Greek root. Middle-of-word patterns and a leading asterisk are not part of this prefix-search feature.
